THE WORKING :   
The phenomenal success of specialized Wound Care Centres in USA has prompted ENVY INTERNATIONAL to promote the same concept in INDIA in the name of HEALING TOUCH wound treatment program.  

This would benefit both the patients and the doctors in achieving their goals in a more scientific manner. A systematic approach to wound healing would benefit the society at large.  

 These Centres would use 'SkinTemp' and 'Medifil' Collagen wound dress up material on patients with wounds and operate on a systematically devised protocol suggested by experts from BIOCORE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY INC. USA. These procedures have been adopted from some of the most successfully functioning wound care centres in USA.  

These procedures when adopted systematically would ensure optimum advantages to the patients.  
 
INFRASTRUCTURE REQUIREMENTS :   
The Doctors desirous of opening HEALING TOUCH WOUND CARE CENTRES would be required to have the following facilities at their clinics :  

1. A separate section for treatment of wounds patients.  
2. Proper OT facilities for preparation of wound for dressing should be available.  
3. The centre would have to use top quality secondary dressings.  
4. Cleanliness of premises is of prime importance.  
5. Facilities such as wheel-chairs etc. should be available.  
6. Should employ soft spoken, courteous, educated assistants to the doctors.  These assistants should be properly trained.  
7. Wound Care Centres would keep proper records of all patients treated by them.  
8. Provision of TV & VIDEO in Reception / Waiting area would be added advantage to these clinics.  
9. The Centre would prominently display HEALING TOUCH sign board.  
 
THE FACILITIES :   
These wound care centres would receive the following facilities from ENVY INTERNATIONAL in association with BIOCORE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES INC. USA.    
  • Complete assistance in devising method of treatment of various types of wounds through protocols given by BIOCORE.  
  • BIOCORE products would be made available at a special discounted prices to these centres directly from ENVY INTERNATIONAL. This would enable these centres to save upto 20% in the cost of BIOCORE products.
  • Doctors running these centres would have access to all Specialists at BIOCORE whenever they need any assistance in treatment of any patients. BIOCORE also has a panel of specialists who can be contacted through Internet by these centres directly or through ENVY INTERNATIONAL in case no Internet facilities are available within these centres.

  • ENVY INTERNATIONAL would advertise in local and national media and a separate budget of 10% of total sales is being planned. This would enhance the image of the Doctors running these Centres and bring in extra revenues for them.

  • ENVY INTERNATIONAL would provide free material for treatment of poor patients to the extent of 5% of the total material purchased by the centre. The centre would however provide complete information regarding use of these free products in the form of Clinical Studies.

  • Centres purchasing materials in excess of Rs. 1 million per year would receive a free Ticket to USA to visit BIOCORE facilities in USA.

  • Doctors running these centres would be able to participate in panel of specialists being formed in INDIA whereby the could exchange their views and draw from experience of other specialists. Annual meets of these specialists would provide a platform for interaction.
